Back To The Future @ Woodhorn Colliery

Back in 2006, Stellex were excited to be involved in a major new development right on their own doorstep. Working with Northumberland County Council, Stellex refurbished and modernised the existing kitchen area and designed and manufactured a brand-new contemporary servery counter at Woodhorn Museum; a flagship visitor attraction in the north-east of England.

What makes this project particularly special, is that Stellex were invited back recently to refresh their timeless servery design with a frontage face-lift. The distinction and durability of the Stellex product is evident when comparing photos from 2006 with those taken recently. The servery looks as good today as it did when it was originally installed 14 years ago. With a simple frontage re-fresh, a whole new look has taken Woodhorn into the next decade and all achieved at a fraction of the cost.
