Once upon a time, Stellex contributed to creating a warm welcome for visitors hoping to catch a glimpse of Flopsy, Mopsy, Cottontail and Peter at The World of Beatrix Potter.

Working in partnership with a distributor, Stellex were tasked with giving the Laundry Café a fresh new look; from initial concept through to full design, manufacture and installation of a bespoke modern serving counter and fabrication through the back bar and kitchen areas.

The unique counter design echoes the recognisable blue of Peter Rabbit’s coat and includes a bespoke 25mm coloured glass countertop with LED downlighting; creating a vibrant and contemporary finish that also compliments the traditional farmhouse feel of the café.

Timescales for delivery were tight and the work had to be completed during a 4-week shutdown period in January, but despite this the bespoke project was delivered on time and within budget to a very happy end user.
